SEW ALONG OUTLINE

Pre Sew Along: All the info you need to know!

Day 1: Pattern prep and sewing pockets!

Day 2: Sewing the main construction for main and lining fabrics. Also sewing the hood together if making that version

Day 3: Attaching the zipper to main, collar/hood and cuffs. Sewing on the twill tape/ribbon to unlined version.

Day 4: Attaching the lining and finishing the jacket

Day 5: Catch Up Day!

Day 6: Recap! And winners will be announced!

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the Ollie Bomber Jacket Sew Along! Today is a pretty easy day, so you should be able to jump right in even if you haven’t sewn your pockets yet! (Click on DAY 1 below for the pocket videos and then hop back on over here once your pockets are sewn.) We are sewing our main construction of our jacket today (main and lining) as well as our hood (if you are making a hooded version).

Sewing the Main Construction (shoulders, sleeves, side seams, waistband)
- A little tip! Alternatively, you can leave a 4” opening in the lining SIDE SEAM to turn your jacket right-side-out if you don’t want to deal with it in the waistband.
