Joggerathon – Recap/Final Comparison
The anticipation is finally over! I know a handful of my readers have been patiently (mostly) waiting for the recap on the Joggerathon and finally…here it is! I’m not going to go in much detail here since I already have in all my other posts, but I’ve included each of the side-by-side comparison photos down below. I’ve also linked all the individual Joggerathon posts right here on this page, or you can check out the full list of posts HERE.
***Don’t forget! I made a video for each one showing the individual fits and you can find those on my instagram HERE.
I know, I know. The biggest question of the month is which ones am I keeping?! Which one’s are good enough for me to keep?! I’m sure if you’ve read my reviews, you could probably guess which ones I’m keeping… Though, some of the ones I like and I’m keeping also has a bit to do with the fabric I used where I might not have kept them if I didn’t like the fabric as much..
These the ones I liked enough to kept and are in order of how the were listed on the Joggerathon and not in order of my likeness. M4M – Lexi Loungers, P4P – Loggers, LN – Resolution Bottoms, Lowland Kids – Women’s Joggers, True Bias – Hudson Pants, Brindille and Twig – Track Pants, Closet Core – Plateau Joggers, P4P – Mama Bear Joggers, RAD – Couch Potato Joggers and the 2 slimmer Apostrophe – MyFit Joggers.
I also liked Sonia Estep Design – Penelope Pants, Greenstyle – Brassies and Little Lizard King -Valparaiso and would have kept them, but I gave them to one of my friends.
I don’t totally love the Rockerbye Jammin Joggers but I’m pretty sure hubby is going to keep those for under his skii pants. They just have too much excess in the crotch that I don’t love. (Unisex pair)

It’s hard to say which one is my absolute favorite but I really like my altered slim fit of the Apostrophe MyFit Joggers and of course I like the Loggers! (One of my favorite bases for loggers is Bamboo French Terry. Not necessarily warm at all but super comfy.) I also really like the fit of the BT Track pants. I love the fabric on those. It’s soft, drapy and super stretchy. I love the P4P Mama Bear Joggers, but I do prefer the rolled hem and slant pockets. I feel like I need to try them all on again though. There is just too many!!
Do you have a favorite pair of joggers from the ones I compared? Which ones are you wanting to try now after this? I’d love to know in the comments below!
Hopefully you enjoyed the Joggerathon! I definitely hope to do more big comparison series on the blog in the future but sourcing enough fabric for them AND getting all the patterns gets pricey! So if you know of different fabric companies who you think would be willing to sponsor something like this, I’d love to know!
Happy Sewing!
Cheers!

Incredible series and roundup!! I really appreciate being able to see the different views of so many different joggers and discover patterns I hadn’t known about before!! I wear my Redwood Joggers the most but should sew the Hudsons for my 12 year old because I think she’d really like them.

That was an impressive marathon! I had mostly made the LN Resolutions before, but I think I am going to do some Rad Couch Potatoes now. Looser leg (obviously I am at the opposite end of your preferences there), not so much stretch needed, maybe use the Resolution contour waistband, I think it’s going to be all good. Thank you so much!

I just binged your entire jogger series. Thank you so much for going through all of these!!! The amount of time and effort must have been huge, but I really appreciate it, it was so helpful.

Thanks for doing this!! I was going to jump on a specific pattern, but after you commented the pockets are shallow, I changed my mind as I feel you there. Pockets need to be useful. I own the Brassie and Mama Bear so I am going to revisit them and give them a better try and use your 5″ casing idea.

After reading your post on the P4P Loggers, I bought the pattern, made a muslin, and I just finished a pair in corduroy that I’m sure I’ll wear a lot. Please do a topathon, as I’d enjoy reading about all the different patterns, fit, and fabric.

I LOVED this comparison! I have waffled between buying and trying several of these patterns but it is so hard to see the small differences in tester photos when the testers are all different! I loved seeing them all on the same body! You sold me on the My Fit (the tester photos are not labeled or organized so I couldn’t tell which option was which!). I have wanted to try the Loggers too so I may be buying those as well (I also love a good slimfit jogger!) Thanks for all the time and money you put into this comparison!

Oh my gosh!! I saved this when I seen you were going to do it and just went through it all! This is such a valuable resource for fabric customers! Many ask which fabric would be best for which pattern and when I see them made up I have a better idea of what to recommend. That and I am definitely making some of these that I wouldn’t have before, because they look so good on you! Thank you for all this work. Fantastic!!
