Sew A Little Seam – Brynn

Introducing the Brynn from Sew a Little Seam! This pattern is amazing! Ranging in sizes from 3m-12y, you seriously will have endless combinations. With the 18+ sleeve options, 8 hems, and different embellishments, there are well over 10,000 different pattern combinations you can get out of this one pattern. It’s currently on sale until Friday, June 21st with a special code in the FB group! Since my little lady isn’t due until August, I can’t get any modeled photos, BUT stay tuned because they will be coming once she’s here and can fit into these cute little shirts!

I absolutely love the puff sleeves! I don’t really like sewing it up but I love the finished product! (I like quick and easy haha. Maybe that’s just pregnant me talking.) I also think the flared and ruffle sleeves look even better with a rolled hem. Makes it look even more ruffly!

I also have a few makes in some of these fabrics so the little lady and me can match!! <3 Ahhh I can’t wait. I’ll definitely be making more before the little peanut makes her appearance into the world!

*Note: the ruffle bodice on the last one is from the original tester version. The new/final construction and look is a bit different but still SO CUTE. I need to make one of those!

Neckband, gathered bodice front, flared sleeves
Neckband, side ties, puff sleeves
Neckband, plain bodice, narrow ruffle w/ rolled hem
Neckband, 3/4 sleeve, old ruffle bodice, curved back hem

BRYNN AND BLYTHE MASH-UP!

I absolutely love the Brynn top and all the sleeve options that come with it. I also LOVE the gathered skirt on the Blythe, but honestly, I hate the neck binding! Solution? Mash the Brynn and the Blythe for the perfect, match-made-in-heaven combo ever! I like the high waisted skirt the most, so that’s what I made and used the tunic length skirt from Blythe.

Basically all you need to do is match up the fold line and the armscye and mark the lines where the skirt should attach. The Brynn flares out just a tad. For my mash’s at the high waist, I just left it as is, but you are more than welcome to slim down the bodice of the Brynn to match the slightly more fitted Blythe. Doing this, you now can use ALL THE SLEEVES with the Blythe! <3 <3 <3 And for me this is great because I can add a neckband instead of binding!

It’s super simple and soooooo cute. I have another one cut out in the regular sleeve, high waisted, tunic. Eventually I’m going to make some bummies to match all of these! All of these makes are size 3m and my little munchkin won’t be here until August, so be ready for all sorts of cute baby pictures once she can fit into these!! And all the mommy and me twinning! <3

I hope you make all the Brynn’s and try out a few Blythe mash-ups!

Happy sewing!

Cheers!
