Sew A Little Seam – Women’s Movie Night PJs
Oh my goodness, these Women’s Movie Night Pajamas by Sew A Little Seam are the BEST! Definitely for more than just movie nights… girl’s night, lounging around the house, sleeping, all the things. They are for everything! (Nobody said you have to wear the top and bottom at the same time! My sister would say I’m not allowed to wear them both…at the same time…outside of the house. But I totally would.) The pants from the Movie Night Pajamas are seriously my FAVORITE! <3! I love all the cuffs, which means no hemming. I probably wear the bottoms more than I wear other pants. They are basically cuffed leggings! I’m probably wearing some right now.
This is a pretty standard pattern with a handful of options. The top has a crew and scoop neck with an option for a placket and multiple sleeve lengths (long, 3/4 and short). Bottoms can have cuffs or hemmed with pants, capris or shorts. Other than the placket (which I tend to avoid because I hate sewing button holes) it’s easy peasy and a great sew for beginners. With May around the corner (literally because it’s tomorrow), I will most definitely be sporting some Movie Night Pajamas for Me-Made-May 2018!
SIZE CHART
Don’t be surprised if your measurements do not fall under your Ready to Wear (RTW) size. Every pattner designer uses their own size chart, which is why it is super important to measure, measure, measure! And grade if your measurements fall under multiple sizes. This will ensure the best fit! The Women’s Movie NIghts are drafted for a height of 5’4-5’9, depending on the size you choose. There are instructions on how to shorten/lengthen the pattern on page 3 of the instructions. If there is a difference of more than 3” between your upper and full bust, you may need a full bust adjustment.
RECOMMENDED FABRIC YARDAGE (60” WOF)
