Sew A Little Seam – Men’s Movie Night Pajamas
I have been waiting SO patiently for a men’s version of the Movie Night Pajamas from Sew a Little Seam to be released and they are finally here! Just in time for Christmas! The men’s version has a semi fitted top and pants that have more of a jogger feel. The long sleeve and pants have a hem or cuffed option and the shirt has great instructions on adding a placket! The best part of this amazing pattern? It’s free! Be sure to join the Sew A Little Seam Facebook Group so you can get the code! Once you join, all the movie night codes can be found in the announcement post. You can use pretty much any fabric for these as long as it has at least 50% horizontal and 25% vertical stretch. You of course will need fabric, such as cotton lycra or ribbing, with excellent stretch and recovery for cuffs and bands. The men’s pajamas have an elastic waistband, so you will also need 1.5” non-roll elastic.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Men’s clothing definitely eats up a LOT of fabric. If I’m being honest, it’s probably one of the main reasons why I don’t sew for my husband as often. Shh! This is also an excellent pattern to sew if you are a beginner. You can follow along with the Sew Along by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
These PJ’s are definitely hubby approved and he was such a great sport for pictures!
I’m definitely not used to making things for my hubby. His clothes eats up so much fabric compared to what I’m used to for me or Max! But I seriously cannot get over this fabric from Raspberry Creek Fabrics. It’s from their new 2018 Christmas Club line in Double Brushed Poly and it is amazing! Sews up like a dream!
And special thanks to my amazing friend Annie who took these fabulous photos!
You still have 5 more days to before Christmas eve! Hubs probably wants a pair of jammies to wear on Christmas day! 😉
Happy sewing!
Cheers!
